For a standard HP Color Laserjet 4600, can I replace the formatter board with one from a 4600DN and have it start duplexing? I am told that the only difference is on that board. Any thoughts on this? Thanks! - Clint Young

Your right! Replacing the formatter board will give you additional functionality. This goes for most current printers as well including P3005, P2015, 2600, etc. These all have duplex units built-in, but are limited by the firmware.
